Allotment Association

The Association includes everyone with allotments in West Malvern.  The Association liaises with the Parish Council, organises insurance and seed orders, and has the odd social event.

Baby & Toddler Group

A friendly group for babies, toddlers and their parents, grandparents and carers ~ from West Malvern and beyond ~ to come and play and make new friends.

Parents, grandparents or carers stay to look after their own children !  Drinks, healthy snacks and lots of toys provided.  You can just turn up (£1.50 per family)

We meet every week in term time on Fridays from 10am till 11.55am, in the Village Hall

    Bus Services

The 675 bus runs from Great Malvern to Ledbury and back through West Malvern (most services).  The Timetable is on the Village Hall website here. Timetable also at some bus stops, or from the County Council (online or at the hub at the Library)

The Hills Hopper runs during the summer at Weekends and Bank Holidays, taking in Great Malvern, West Malvern, Ledbury, Upton etc on a circular route.  Leaflet and timetable with route from the Tourism Information Centre in Malvern.

 

 

Coffee Mornings

Meet old and new friends, chat, have coffee, and check out the village archive.

First Thursday of each month in the Village Hall from 10am ~ 12am.  All welcome.

 

 

Cricket Club

The club plays league and friendly matches on Saturdays and Sunday during the summer season.

The home ground is at Mathon Court.

The Club has playing and social membership.

The group meets in the Village Hall every Thursday from 4.30pm ~ 6pm, and the third Sunday in the month from 10.30am ~ 4pm

 

 

  Mobile Library


The Mobile Library visits West Malvern every third Tuesday in 2009 :

Parish Council


An elected body of seven local residents, elected every four years.

The Parish Council manages the playing fields, allotments, bus shelters, and the community woodland. 

It also comments on planning applications, and liaises with other official bodies.

The Parish Council meets in the Village Hall on the second Monday of the month, from 7.30pm onwards, and the meeting starts with a slot of public participation and comments.

Parish Path Warden


The Path Wardens monitor the state of parish footpaths and bridleways, clearing problems with the help of landowners and County Council staff.

Parish Tree Wardens


The Tree Wardens check the health of trees in the parish, and work with residents when attention is needed, helped by County and local contacts.

The Village Hall is on West Malvern road at the junction with Ebrington Road.

The Hall is well equipped and has a capacity of up to 100.  It is available for many functions and groups.
