...is also the name of a Hereford bookshop in a novel by Phil Rickman, a Herefordshire author who writes about earth energies and related matters.

'Trackways' is an excellent name for such a shop, for Alfred Watkins ~ the man who rediscovered the ley line system ~ named his first book on the subject 'Early British Trackways'.

Watkins main book on the subject is 'The Old Straight Track', and that book ~ written in 1925 ~ is still the key work on the subject.
