Alfred Watkins...

Alfred Watkins was a Hereford man.

He was an amazing chap.  Inventor, businessman, local historian, and the the man who rediscovered the ley line system ~ named his first book on the subject 'Early British Trackways'.

Watkins main book on the subject is 'The Old Straight Track', and that book ~ written in 1925 ~ is still the key work on the subject.
